The Microtech Ultratech D/E Signature Series (Model 122-1DLCTULS) is a premium, high-performance double-action out-the-front (OTF) automatic knife. It pairs a translucent Ultem top chassis with an ultra-tough CPM MagnaCut steel dagger blade.
Features & Design
- Dual-Material Handle: Built with a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum bottom chassis paired with a see-through amber Ultem thermoplastic top cover. This allows users to view the inner mechanical workings of the knife.
- Premium MagnaCut Blade: Features a symmetrical, double-edged (D/E) dagger blade forged from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel. This advanced alloy delivers an elite balance of extreme corrosion resistance, high toughness, and excellent edge retention.
- Tactical DLC Finish: The blade, internal hardware, thumb slide, and pocket clip are fully treated with a sleek, scratch-resistant Black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.
- Enhanced Maintenance: Unlike standard Microtech models that require proprietary tri-wing bits, this specialized Signature Series edition utilizes Torx hardware screws for easier user maintenance.
- Proprietary Firing Mechanism: Features Microtech's reliable dual-action mechanism. The internal springs rest in a tensionless state when fully deployed or retracted to drastically reduce wear and eliminate spring fatigue.
