The Microtech Combat Troodon Gen III (Model 1142-1BGBKRDSPLS) is a premium, heavy-duty out-the-front (OTF) automatic tactical knife featuring an eye-catching Signature Series "Bull Shark Gray and Black with Red Paint Splatter" finish. This Gen III iteration brings radical internal and external upgrades over previous generations, resulting in drastically smoother deployment and simplified maintenance. 

• Dual-Fuel Drivetrain System: Features a completely overhauled double-spring internal mechanism. It delivers hard-firing deployment with minimal thumb resistance, making it one of the easiest and smoothest Microtechs to open and retract. 
• "Crud Cutter" Milled Platform: The expanded X-button slides on a specialized milled track designed to break up and push away pocket lint, dirt, and debris. This significantly reduces internal friction and minimizes cleaning frequencies. 
• Torx Hardware: Standard T8 and T30 Torx screws replace Microtech’s proprietary triangle hardware. This modification allows users to easily field-strip, clean, and maintain the tool themselves. 
• Upgraded Pocket Clip: Styled similarly to the Glykon model, the milled titanium pocket clip features a smooth ceramic detent ball to reduce fabric wear while remaining secure. The clip is completely reversible for left- or right-hand carry. 
• Chassis Improvements: Crafted from contoured aircraft-grade aluminum, the deep-engraved handle features optimized jimping and grooves for a highly tactile, secure grip. A redesigned, sleek glass breaker is subtly integrated at the base of the handle.
