Jimmy Lile Hunter ~ Rare ~ One of a Kind ~ NO DOT ~

This is a Drop Point Hunter with an engraved guard, flower pins, yellow Micarta scales and a full tapered tang with a lanyard hole. The handle has a intricately engraved scene of two birds on a log by J W Stuart `79. It is a (NO DOT) beautiful knife made in 1979. It comes with a leather sheath, that may or may not be original. The condition of the knife is near mint, with only a tiny line on the butt end on back side. The condition is amazing considering the age of the knife. Please inspect all photos to determine condition. I have tried to capture it from all angles. It has never used, carried or sharpened.

It’s not enough to say Jimmy Lile was a legend among knifemakers. He made his mark on the custom knife world long before the Rambo movies made him famous. But even more famous was the knife on which he and Sylvester Stallone had collaborated. The knife would become the star of the great movie, Rambo, First Blood.
