Winchester ~ Vintage

 Winchester branded knife was made in the USA by the Utica Cutlery company in NYC during 1992. They were made under contract by them for Blue Grass Cutlery, which had the rights from Olin to use the Winchester trademark and name on these knives. The handle scales are made of a cast bronze. Carbon steel is listed as the blade material on the paperwork that came with the knife.  It's a USA made knife that is almost thirty years old.  American made traditional pocket knife makers are very few and far in between.   The animal scene on this knife is very pleasing.  A nice hefty feel, solidly made.
