Schatt & Morgan 04213T is a "Mountain Man Trapper" pocket knife from the brand's premium File & Wire Tested series. It is a limited-production, collector's item that was originally manufactured by Queen Cutlery and is now out of production. 
 
 
Blades:
  • ATS-34 stainless steel: The blades are a corrosive-resistant, high-carbon ATS-34 stainless steel.
  • Mirror polished: The blades are described as having a high-polish, mirror finish.
  • Two blades: It features a long spey blade and a clip point blade. 
Handle and construction:
  • Handle material: Moss Green Wormgroove jigged bone handles were used in a limited production run. Other handle materials have also been available, such as tan jigged bone.
  • Brass liners: The handle construction features brass liners.
  • File & Wire trademark: The knife has a "File & Wire" trademark shield.
  • Closed length: The knife measures 4⅝ inches when closed. 
 
Manufacturing history
The history of Schatt & Morgan knives is intertwined with Queen Cutlery, which owned the Schatt & Morgan brand for many years. 
  • The original Schatt & Morgan company was founded in 1895 and sold to Queen City Cutlery (later Queen Cutlery) in 1933.
  • The Schatt & Morgan brand was revived by Queen in 1991 for a high-end line of knives.
  • The File & Wire Tested Series, which includes the 04213T, was introduced in 1998.
