This is a classic Custom Hunting Knife model from ML Knives. Features a hand forged blade and full tang construction with Maple scales and brass pins. Comes with the original leather sheath dated 2014. This is a beautiful, hefty knife perfect for outdoor use or the ML knife collector.
ML Knives is a company that specializes in handcrafted, custom-forged knives, focusing on traditional styles reminiscent of early American blacksmithing.
The owner and craftsman is Matthew Lesniewski, who has been making knives for about 22 years, with 20 years as a full-time business. He forges all the knives and handles all the leather and steel work himself in his shop in upstate New York. Matt Lesniewski utilizes techniques similar to those of 18th and 19th-century American blade smiths. He primarily works with High Carbon Steel and favors vintage materials like Stag Antler, bone, and American hardwoods. ML Knives are hardworking and designed for use in the field. They are forged in the USA with "one of a kind" steel that is tested for durability. Excellent edge retention and ease of sharpening. - Never used, carried or sharpened
