Kershaw Bump 1590BL ~ 2005 ~ Ken Onion Signature

The Kershaw Bump 1590BL is a discontinued, Ken Onion-designed, USA-made assisted-opening folder featuring a 3.5" CPM S30V recurve blade with dual thumb studs, a blue anodized titanium frame, gold stripe accents, and SpeedSafe assist for easy one-hand opening, often sought by collectors for its premium materials and distinctive design. It locks with a sturdy frame lock, has a tip-down pocket clip, lanyard hole, and was produced in 2005.

  • Blade Material: Premium CPM S30V stainless steel, which is dense and fine-grained, allowing it to hold an extremely fine edge for a long time.
  • Handle Material: Grooved titanium with a blue anodized finish and gold stripe accents. The titanium offers a lighter weight than steel while maintaining strength.
  • Opening Mechanism: Features Kershaw's proprietary SpeedSafe assisted openingsystem, activated via a flipper or dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one-hand opening.
  • Locking Mechanism: Utilizes a sturdy frame lock to secure the blade in the open position.
  • Blade Style: A recurve blade with a drop point tip.
  • Design: A discontinued, serial-numbered ( 1176 ) model designed by custom knifemaker Ken Onion and made in the USA  in 2005.
