Kershaw  "Blue Smoke Chive" ~ Vintage 2006

Kershaw 1600BB Chive (often called "Blue Chive" or "Blue Smoke Chive") is a small, assisted-opening pocket knife designed by Ken Onion, first released around the mid-2000s, including a version from 2006. The model 1600BB features a distinctive blue handle finish, differentiating it from the standard stainless steel version.

  • SpeedSafe Assisted Opening: The knife features Kershaw's patented SpeedSafetorsion bar technology, allowing for quick, smooth, one-handed opening via an ambidextrous thumb stud or a built-in blade flipper.
  • Safety Lock: A Tip-Lock slider safety mechanism is located at the butt end of the knife to securely lock the blade in the closed position, preventing accidental opening during transport.
  • Frame Lock: A sturdy frame lock mechanism secures the blade in place when open.
  • Compact Size: It is designed to be a very small, discreet, everyday carry knife, ideal for a pocket, purse, or briefcase.
  • Made in the USA
