VINTAGE KERSHAW #1040 FOLDING KNIFE with SCRIMSHAW BY LINDA KARST 384/400- JAPAN.  This knife is a limited edition scrimshaw model made in SEKI JAPAN in the 1980s. The Kershaw 1040 folding knife was offered by Kershaw from 1980 until 1990. The 1040 had 4 limited edition scrimshaw models from 4 different artists.  This knife is the deer scene, and has multiple colors in the carving of deer, mountains and some trees. It is signed on the carving "Karst 384/400."
