JOHN ROY CUSTOM KNIFE Featuring an 8' Damascus blade, wood handle and lanyard hole. Over all length is 13 7/8". This may be one of his early knives, no others in our research were Damascus.

John Roy's knives are generally characterized by robust construction and functional design, frequently utilizing materials like 440C stainless steel for blades and various stabilized woods, such as spalted maple, for handles. His knives often feature a full tang and come with a custom leather sheath.

Part of the second generation of Dawson knifemakers, John Roy was trained personally by Barry. He's been designing and handcrafting custom knives for over 20 years and oversees the day-to-day operations of Dawson Knives.
