Japanese Valor "Assassin" ~ "Knuckle Duster" Lockback ~ Vintage

The Valor "Assassin" is a folding knife from the 1980`s that features a "knuckle duster" handle. It was part of the large number of knives imported from Seki, Japan, by the Miami, Florida-based company Valor Corp.
    • Handle: The distinctive feature of the "Assassin" was its knuckle-style, four-finger-hole handle, intended to be reminiscent of brass knuckles. The handle was typically made from cast metal, often with a finish that mimicked brass.
    • Blade: The knife utilized a locking blade mechanism, or "lockback". This design allowed the folding blade to lock securely into place when opened, which was a feature found on many of Valor's knives.
    • Manufacturer: The knife was manufactured in Seki, Japan, a city famous for its high-quality knifemaking. Valor imported many different knives from Seki makers throughout the 1970s and 1980`s
