Gerber Airframe Harsey Design ~ Vintage

Designed by knife maker William Harsey in collaboration with Gerber, this knife was produced in limited numbers during the late 1990's. The knife's design called for titanium handles but after about 1,800 knives were produced, the production costs were too high. An additional 1,200 knives with aluminum handles were produced to fill existing orders and the knife has been out of production since then. This knife is very collectible. The 3-7/8 inch combinaion edge blade is 154 CM steel and has the factory razor edge. The handles are beautiful cast titanium with with a titanium liner and liner lock. Dual thumb studs and a titanium pocket clip. The knife is about 9 inches overall and weighs about 5 ounces  Due to its limited production numbers it will only increase in value.
