Vintage CRKT ~ Crawford Design

The CRKT Point Guard is true to Pat Crawford's design in every detail, with the addition of our proven, rock-solid, overbuilt Mirage construction with 420J2 double stainless steel liners, 6061 T6 hard anodized aluminum back spacer, Torx® fasteners, Teflon® bearings, and Zytel® scales. An integral part of the Point Guard is the patented Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®) to provide lock security under extreme use.

The modern Point Guard design is slim and trim, with no excess. There is just enough handle to hold the blade. Holes and slots are incorporated to minimize handle weight and located so that frame strength is not reduced.

The rear of the handle is rounded to maintain the minimal profile, which permits the knife to be held comfortably regardless of hand size. At top rear of the handle are friction grooves that create greater control in both natural and reverse grips.

The blade of 420J2 stainless steel is a drop point design for greater utility. The high hollow ground makes resharpening easier. An ambidextrous thumb disk for one hand opening is used instead of a thumb stud to minimize the width of the frame
