Chubby Hueske Custom Dagger ~ RARE !!

Chubby Hueske Custom Dagger features stag scales, red liners, brass pins and brass front and rear bolsters. It is full tang, 1/4" thick. It has "HUESKE" on the ricasso on one side and "1197"on the other side. The blade is mirror polished. Measures 9 3/8" overall with a 4 3/4" blade. This is the most unique, finest example of his work our research has found. It would probably be a "one of a kind" knife.    Extremely rare knife !!!!

Chubby Hueske was a Texas knifemaker who was one of the founding members of the Knifemakers Guild. He began making knives in the 1960's, passed away in 1991.

• Founding of the Knifemakers Guild: He was among the pioneering group of eleven knifemakers who established the Knifemakers Guild, a pivotal organization in the custom knife world. The first meeting of the Guild took place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June 1970.
• Craftsmanship and Customer Service: He was known for his skilled craftsmanship and for providing excellent customer service, often spending extensive time with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Knife Characteristics: Hueske's knives are known for their quality, including features like tapered tangs for reduced weight and polished blades. While many of his knives didn't feature embellishments, some examples are known to include decorative file work.
