CHESTER Co, Germany ~ Corn Knife ~ Antique/Vintage

The front tang of the blade is marked: CHESTER C0, Germany.  The ivoroid handles are flawless - no cracks or chips. The knife is 3 3/8" long when closed . The age is unknown, but most of these types of knives were made in the early 20th century. This particular one apparently has the " CORN KNIFE " stamp on the handle upside down. Research shows when knife is positioned on its spine with blade on the right side, " CORN KNIFE " stamp is correct. These knives are rare and in this condition very rare. This example is in near mint condition at around 100 years old.
