Vintage W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery model R603SSP PAWNEE Hunter-Skinner in original Case XX "basket wave" leather sheath. Made in the USA circa 1965-1969. Pawnee was part of the Case XX 1960th "Indian" series; this specimen is the original 1960th "no dots logo" 1st run. Knife does not appear to be used, the tip is intact. Nickel-silver guard and pins, full tang construction; laminated rosewood handle scales are excellent; all parts are tight.

Ricasso is stamped CASE•XX / STAINLESS / USA on one side; R603 / SSP on the other. The knife is about 9-1/16"overall. Satin-polished blade with the Pawnee Indian profile etching is about 4-1/4" . Brown leather sheath is super-embossed CASE XX on the front; the sheath is in very good condition; the leather is soft and supple .
