Case XX USA Red Stag 5 Blade Peanut Knife ~ Vintage 1997

 CASE XX knife model 5520 year 1997. The knife measures 2 3/4" long closed. The knife is in the PEANUT pattern.  This knife has beautiful RED STAG handles which are in great shape w/ no cracks or chips. These RED STAG handles look great and both handles match well.

• Handle Material: Red Stag, made from genuine India Stag. Case artisans recreate the Red Stag handle using an age-old process.
• Blades: This is a 5-blade pocket knife. The Red Stag Peanut typically has a Clip blade and a Pen blade.
• Blade Material: Case Tru-Sharp™ stainless steel, a high-carbon steel known for edge retention and corrosion resistance.
•  It first appeared in Case's Catalog #3, Page 13, and was first advertised in 1997. A limited quantity of 1000 were produced. 
•  Features mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades, red stag handles with brass pins and liners, nickel silver bolsters, and a nickel silver Case shield.
