Custom knife makers and collectors alike have held in esteem the performance and exquisite pattern designs of the steel produced by Thomas Damascus.This Case Raindrop Damascus Damascus Doctors Knife is tang stamped on the master Spear blade with Case XX with 5 X's and 4 Dots, dating this as a 2011 issue Case knife. The rear tang of the Spatula blade is pattern stamped with USA 5285 SP-DAM; the "DAM" in the pattern stamp signifies the Case Raindrop Damascus Steel and the "SP" in the pattern stamp designates this Case Doctors Knife as having the Spatula blade.
