 Case XX long tail C Stockman ~ Whittler pattern PS06347 SS ~ serial # 065 ~ COINS OF THE CONFEDERACY  has a Confederate five dollar gold coin copy dated 1861 ,( PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GOLD COIN IS A COPY NOT REAL PRODUCT), Confederate States of America, Confederate Five Dollar etching on main blade. Pattern number on small blade PS06347 SS. Main blade tang stamp Case long tail C over U S A lightning bolt S over 7 dots (1993). It is considered a rare pattern because very few Case whittlers were made with 3 backsprings. Each of the 3 blades rests on its own spring. Commonly whittlers are made with a "split backspring" configuration. This knife has brown peachseed bone handles, no cracks or chips. The stainless steel blades move smoothly and have strong snap. The knife is 3 7/8 inches closed.
