Case USA 10-Dot 6347HP Pretty Bone Tested XX Razor Edge Stockman ~ Vintage 1970
- Production Year: 1970. Case introduced its famous "dot dating system" in 1970. A 10-dot stamp under "U.S.A." on the main blade tang definitively marks it as a first-year 1970 issue.
- Pattern Number (6347HP):Handle Material ("Pretty Bone"): Highly sought after by collectors, "Pretty Bone" refers to the distinct, vibrant red or reddish-brown pocket-worn style of bone jigging and dye coloring that Case uniquely achieved during the late 1960s and early 1970s transition era.
- Blade Configuration: Features a traditional trio of multi-purpose shapes—a Clip Point (master blade), a Sheepsfoot blade, and a Spey blade.
- Blade Etch ("Tested XX Razor Edge"): The master clip blade features a factory-stamped or etched banner reading "Tested XX Razor Edge", a marketing hallmark used to highlight the premium, razor-sharp factory finish given to high-grade carbon steel or early specialty stainless lines.
- Hardware & Accoutrements: Accented with high-polish nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, and the classic inset Case script shield. It measures approximately 3 7/8 inches when closed.

NKCA Grading system
MINT: A factory fresh knife, absolutely original as it came from the manufacturer, not carried or sharpened, a perfect knife.
NEAR MINT: A new knife that has seen sometimes, show some slight carry or shop wear, blades snap perfectly, handles show no cracks.
EXCELLENT: Shows no more than 10% blade wear, handles are sound, no cracks, blades snap good.
VERY GOOD: About 25% blade wear, slight cracks in handles, may have one lazy blade, stamping clearly visible to the naked eye, no blades changed or repaired.
FAIR: 50% blade wear, blades lazy, cracks and chips in handles, handles replaced with same type, blades repaired, stampings faint but readable with a glass.
POOR: Blades very worn, handles bad or missing, blades have been replaced with the same type, reading of the stamp is almost impossible, even with a glass, good mostly only for parts.
