Buck 110 Folding Hunter knife has remained largely unchanged in its design since its introduction in 1964
- Blade Material: It features a 3.75-inch (9.5 cm) 420HC stainless steel clip point blade with a satin finish. This steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance and ease of resharpening, especially with Buck's proprietary Paul Bos heat treatment process which hardens it to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58.
- Blade Style: The clip point blade has a sharp, controllable point ideal for detailed work and plenty of belly for slicing. It opens manually using a nail nick.
- Locking Mechanism: The knife utilizes a secure and reliable lockback mechanism that locks the blade firmly in place when open, which was a revolutionary feature for folding knives in its time.
