This Boker Knife is the Boker Swiss Dagger, a reproduction of the Swiss Dagger that originated in the late 1500's, and manufactured by Heinr. Boker of Solingen in the early stage of World War II at the request of the military. This reproduction of the Swiss Dagger features an 8 5/8" double edge blade made of C-75 high carbon steel. The blade of this Boker knife has a satin finish, an authentic Boker logo on one side, and an individual serial number on the reverse side. The hand selected cherry wood handle has a palm swell for secure grip and a stainless steel cross guard and pommel. A unique metal sheath system is included with this Boker knife. The Boker Swiss Dagger has an overall length of 14 1/8", and weighs 9.1 ounces. This Boker knife is manufactured in Germany.
