This Benchmark Rolox is a very rare slide back "folder". The design is simple and unusual. Feature stainless steel bolsters, liners and lockbar with  black Micarta scales that contour nicely to your hand. You push down on the back of the thumb notches of the blade to release and slide it forward into position. Very innovative design. Comes with black leather sheath with snap and belt loop. Date code on the end of the knife signifies August 1980 ( AD 880 ) . It does not appear to have ever been carried, used or sharpened.  It comes with the original box. Box is fair condition, consistent with age.
