Taking the best from some of our favorite legacy designs, the new 8551BK Mediator is Benchmade’s latest push-button automatic. With milled chevron-pattern G10 handles and a CPM-S90V reverse tanto blade, the Mediator™ is a sleek switchblade with lightning-fast action.

Sleek and lightweight push-button automatic knife designed for everyday carry and tactical use. Its key features include:

Blade: Features a 3.3-inch reverse tanto blade made from CPM-S90V premium stainless steel. This steel offers excellent edge retention and wear resistance.
Finish: The blade is finished with a black Cerakote coating, providing a tactical, low-reflection look and enhanced corrosion resistance.
Handle: Black G10 handles with a chevron pattern provide a secure grip. G10 is a durable composite material that is resistant to moisture and temperature changes.
Mechanism: A push-button automatic with a secure button lock mechanism allows for fast, one-handed deployment. It also includes a safety lock to prevent accidental opening.
Clip: The knife comes with a reversible, tip-up, mini deep-carry pocket clip.
