Maltese Cross Bolsters: Unlike traditional s-guards or swivel-guards, this model features unique, sculpted nickel silver bolsters shaped like a Maltese cross at the hilt.
Abalone Handle Scales: The handle is wrapped in genuine abalone shell. Because it utilizes natural organic materials, every knife features a completely unique swirl of reflective greens, teals, and pinks.
Lockback Release: Rather than using a traditional pick-lock or swivel-bolster mechanism to close, the Maltese series utilizes a lever lockback closure system positioned at the spine/rear of the handle. This design minimizes modern "blade play" and provides a much tighter, structurally stable lockup.
Classic Action: The knife deploys rapidly with a simple push-button mechanism and includes a sliding safety switch on the handle face to prevent accidental firing.

Intent & Intended Use

These knives are individually handmade in Maniago, Italy using old-world heirloom techniques. They have a more rustic, artisan finish compared to laser-cut factory folders and are intended strictly as high-end collector display pieces rather than heavy everyday carry (EDC) utility tools.
